Ever wonder how extra virign olive oil is harvested? We're so excited to walk you through the process of how our early harvest extra virgin olive oil is produced and introduce you to Joy and Vitality Extra Virgin Olive Oils!

Our extra virgin olive oil is harvested in Jaén, Spain, the land of the olive tree where there are over 60 million trees.

The harvest of olives goes from Oct-Mar, and we harvest our olives in October making them early harvest - young, green, and bursting with health benefits and flavor!

During the harvest of olives, the olives are picked from a tree and collected in a net.

Within four hours of being picked, the olives are taken to the mill where they will get crushed.

The olives go through a belt where the sand and dirt are taken off. They are then crushed in the mill. The resulting paste goes into a decanter that separates the water from oil.

The extra virgin olive oil is then filtered and stored in stainless steel tanks that are kept at controlled temperatures.

We then bottle the extra virgin olive oil and it is ready to be used!
