Here are two quick and healthy pasta recipes packed full with flavor:

 

Spaghetti Aglio e Olio:


Ingredients:

8 oz of spaghetti

1/2 cup of extra-virgin olive oil

6 cloves of garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes

Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Freshly grated Parmesan cheese (optional)


Instructions:

Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente.

In a large saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes and cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

Drain the pasta and add it to the saucepan with the garlic and olive oil. Toss to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce.

Season with salt and pepper to taste and sprinkle with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.

8 oz of linguine

1/4 cup of extra-virgin olive oil

2 (6.5 oz) cans of chopped clams, drained

1/2 cup of white wine

Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Freshly grated Parmesan cheese (optional)


Instructions:

Cook the linguine according to the package instructions until al dente.

In a large saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

Add the clams, white wine, salt, and pepper to the saucepan and bring to a simmer.

Drain the linguine and add it to the saucepan with the clam sauce. Toss to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce.

Serve the pasta sprinkled with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
