Balsamic Gin Fizz

The perfect fall and holiday cocktail recipe!

Balsamic vinegar and gin make a great pairing, and this combination creates a refreshing and unique cocktail. Our balsamic gin fizz recipe is a modern take on the classic gin fizz that adds a sweet, tangy twist with the addition of balsamic vinegar. Here's how to make it!

2 oz gin

1 oz Spark Balsamic Vinegar

1 oz fresh lemon juice

1 oz simple syrup

1 egg white (optional; added for extra foam)

Soda water

Rosemary Sprig

In a cocktail shaker, add gin, balsamic vinegar, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white (if you want extra foam).

Dry shake (without ice) vigorously for about 20 seconds to froth the egg white. Skip this step if you are omitting the egg white.

Add ice to the shaker and shake again for about 15 seconds to chill the drink.

Strain the cocktail into a glass of your choosing filled with ice.

Top off the glass with soda water.

Garnish with your rosemary sprig.

This cocktail is easy to customize by adjusting the amount of balsamic vinegar or simple syrup to your taste. You can also experiment with different types of gin to find the one that complements the balsamic vinegar best. We love using Empress Gin for it's delicious taste and for a pop of color! Try making this cocktail at your next party and see how it becomes a crowd favorite.
